Welcome to Stress Management! I am so excited to be teaching this particular course and feel that I have a lot to offer on this topic, both personally and professionally. Stress reduction techniques have been an integral part of my career and a very important aspect of my own life in recent years. Because of my strong belief in the importance of managing stress to increase quality of life and overall wellness, as a graduate student, I focused my thesis on this topic and am constantly working on this aspect of my own health on a regular basis. More on that as the semester progresses.
For now, I just wanted to welcome you to the course and let you know that I am excited to get to know all of you! This website is primarily for sharing interesting class-related topics, articles, videos, etc. We will be using Blackboard as our format for submitting assignments and keeping track of grades. This class meets Mondays from 5-7:30pm. It's important that you come each week willing to participate, share and experience the classroom environment we will create together.
