As we learned this past week, taking charge of your health is about much more than preventing disease by eating a proper diet and exercising regularly. Instead, we defined the seven dimensions of wellness which involve your conscious decisions for how you choose to live your life. Each dimension is not independent of one another, rather each dimension is connected and contributes to your overall wellness.
In class, I wanted to share a couple of videos on certain dimensions of wellness that get a little less attention in our field. My intention is to inspire you to think outside of the box, to connect to the idea and fact that you do have control to make different choices to help shift how you live your life so that you can live well. I was unable to share them during class, so have decided to instead, share the videos here for review at your leisure.
